What is Bottle Soccer? |
To start the game the bottle is spun in the middle of the field (between the two benches) and whoever the bottle points to kicks-off. If the ball goes out to the side then there is also a spin-off. However if the bottle goes out the back without going in the goal or hitting a player, then the defending team gets the bottle. If a player kicks the bottle at goal but chips it and the bottle hit s an opponent above the knee then it is a penalty. This is also the case if a player hand-balls it or lets go of the chair when kicking the ball. With a penalty the offending team must decide who is defending with only 1 person in goal at the time with only 1 foot. The player must state which leg he will be using and if the bottle hits the other foot, then another penalty is awarded with the penalty's result standing, no matter whether a goal is scored or not. It is the end of the game when a team reaches 5 goals but must win by at least 2. |
